Double T Equipment Ltd. was founded in 1976 with a focus on customized equipment. Our foremost strength has been in combining our engineering and design skills. As a result we've achieved a proven track record of technical innovation for over twenty years.
Double T Equipment was the first to develop a full line of mushroom growing equipment for both tray and net farms. We were the first to explore exotic mushrooms and to develop a line of equipment especially for their indoor commercial growth. Our totally new design for paddle blender weighing systems revealed unequalled accuracy when tested and approved by Canada Weights and Measures.
We pioneered a systematic approach that fully integrates our design and production capabilities - from planning, engineering design and prototyping through to manufacturing and installations. This system, a precedent-setting concept twenty years ago, is still the foundation of Double T's reputation for reliable products and performance.

Realizing the customer's conceptual objectives in the finished product form is our principal goal. It's a highly interactive process, hinging on the effectiveness with which ideas are communicated and applied, tested and proven. Our sales consultants provide an important liaison role, linking the customer's team with our own, mapping out the parameters and specific technical details of the design assignment and coordinating its progress step by step.

Our system is based on a simple but fundamental notion: the more production steps under Double T's direct control, the better the overall quality will be. As a result, we have progressed steadily toward the development of total in-house capacity, beginning with our initial strengths in design and manufacturing, and extending to our present, uniquely comprehensive facilities.

We have had extensive experience and exposure to a wide range of material handling projects throughout North America. We have engineered, designed and implemented systems that distribute and/or mix materials ranging from sulphur to a wide variety of agricultural substrate, including compost and compostable materials.
In 1977 Double T became involved in designing and building the highly specialized equipment required by the mushroom growing industry. Breaking into this market was a difficult task. For many years, all major mushroom growing technological breakthroughs had been accomplished in Europe. In spite of this, Double T has earned not only a firm place within the industry, but has become a worldwide industry leader with its state of the art high tech system designs and equipment.
We have designed and built everything from foam recycling systems to explosives magazines and even equipment for the furniture industry. Double T can provide complete turnkey systems or just one piece of equipment.
